Next comes the awesome title track, featuring expressive vocals from vAn, before “Girls With Red Lipstick” – incredibly atmospheric and with an almost cinematic intro to set the scene. “Tonight” closes the EP in style – all urgent synths and catchy snatches of vocal hooks.

“Phoenix” is a moving, sweeping piece of house with an electric undercurrent of energy that runs at its very core throughout. Swoon and DANK have layered the instrumental sections here incredibly well, using well-placed synths and piano as solid foundations for Humble’s expressive vocals.
