Yet, the song of ‘theirs’ I have been most impressed with is actually a remix by French DJ, DJ Snake. He takes Body Music lead single “You Know You Like It” and adds some great sonic layering that steers the song away from its poppier base. The chopped/echoing chorus, snare claps, heavy trap drums and most of all, killer bassline make this version feel more apt for an after hours loft party than its predecessor.

Correct. Yes, more please. There’s just some sort of personal touch to these vocals that bring out a different, almost more passionate feeling from the song. It should be noted that AlunaGeorge is coming out with their own debut album on July 29th, but now I’ve got my ears trained on these guys too. They’re very conveniently playing a show at Glasslands on Monday, so maybe I’ll see you there?

UPDATE 6-9-13 I lied to you. BLDP just had to cancel their Glasslands set on Monday due to an injury. Next time, guys!
