I have loved Atlas Genius from the first strum of the guitar in Trojans. They followed this up with a ton of other awesome tracks as well as a sweet remix by Goldroom. With their imminent descent upon San Francisco I was listening to a bunch of their stuff and came across this sweet remix by Ghost Loft and Twice As Nice. These two LA based groups do a great job of keeping the original feel of the Atlas Genius song while bending it to their collective will, creating something new. It’s definitely worth a listen and any kind of new Atlas Genius track is OK by me.

File under: perfect. TMD favorites Magic Man team up with another TMD champion, Atlas Genius to form an electropop force to be reckoned with. Here, the boys take their pop anthem ‘If So’ and turn it out into some electro pop bliss. The end result makes me smile. Side note: I’m having trouble forming sentences today. So just listen.

I’m going to put Goldroom right up there with RAC. The homie just gets it. He’s got a signature sound that can only be described as “sexy”. His tracks and remixes invoke a sense of a cool breeze on the ocean. We’ve been fans for quite a while and it’s very cool to see him shine. Get it.

Another track that just grabs you from the first note. Atlas Genius hails from Adelaide, Australia. And they’re reminding me a bit of Phoenix in there; mixed in with some Miike Snow. Add that up and you’ve got gold. They’ve got a great blend of rock and electro that grabs you and won’t let you go. Love this track.
