First, Branchez will forever have a huge hold on me after last summer’s explosive bootleg release of “Stay“. I can say with not an ounce of regret that I am responsible for 1 million of the nearly 3 million Soundcloud plays… no, but really. Next, Wet sucked me in after a hypnotic Popshop performance this past February. The Brooklyn trio moved me with their unique R&B meets electro-pop flavor, and I haven’t looked back since. Then, worlds collided when Branchez totally electrified Wet’s emotionally-charged, tantalizing tune “Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl” this spring. The New York City producer amplified the beauty of Wet’s original track with his open-minded rhythm and beat, and we thank him so much for that.

So, finally, enjoy your Thursday with this throwback (#TBT, I don’t like it as much as you — but it is what it is, you know?)… it will make tomorrow’s trip out to Montauk feel that much closer, and Wet’s upcoming performance at The Surf Lodge that much better.
