Chris Baker, born and raised in Sydney has dropped this gem from his solo project, Billy Fox. The song, Monuments, has a very intriguing opening winding together synth and piano sounds drawing you in. Baker’s wonderful R&B vocals join the mix like Goldilocks’ favorite porridge, not too loud and not too soft but just right. It almost sounds like a cross between LVLF and James Blake which is alright with me any day. I keep wanting to not let the next song play because Monuments is so good. My advice is go to a place with a view, loop this track and revel in it.
