NEW TUNES ALERT: from one of my favorite new bands, Brighton, UK new-wave dream-poppers, Fickle Friends – out this week with a new 4 track EP – “Velvet.” This stuff is dope on a rope, and if you know me, you know how much I love things on ropes: stuff like soap, candy, tire swings… Regardless, Fickle Friends are sweet (like that rope candy when you bite off both ends of a twizzler and use it as a straw at the movie theater??) and keeping true to their new sound, these new jams are real tasty. Yet to play a US show, but I will be sure to keep y’all posted. They’ve already said it’s in the works…

Greyjoy – EP

Today Greyjoy released their self title EP. That’s a wonderful thing. Back in March we posted a single off the EP and we were huge fans. Now we get to hear the rest of it, and it does not disappoint. The Australian dreampoppers deliver with a whimsical sound that will be suited just fine for poolside jams and lazy summer haze. I cannot stop listening to this EP. There is a lot of depth and range here. It’s awesome and it’s about to make your day much, much better. Press play.

I love these kinds of tracks. This delicious nugget came across the inbox today and I was hooked from the moment I hit play. Just good, old fashioned hustle. GREYJOY is a synth based dream-pop band from Perth Australia. That’s about all the intel I have. They make awesome music, that’s for sure.
