Giorgio Moroder is a legend (I mean, LOOK at that pornstar ‘stache), who if you remember, Daft Punk had a whole tribute song about in their last album. This dude’s got 3 Academy Awards and 4 Grammys. He wrote “What a Feeling” from Flashdance, and also wrote the Berlin track “Take My Breath Away” from Top Gun (never has one song been re-used more throughout a movie than “Take My Breath Away” in Top Gun. Also, who shows up at someones house for a dinner date and asks to use their shower?? Does Pete Mitchell have NO manners..?! Bold to say the least. I guess that’s why they call him Maverick). Giorgio Moroder is twisting the knife a bit here coming off his interview slash monologue slash cameo on the new Daft Punk – Random Access Memories album. I guess we should all tip the hat here to a guy, who for all intents and purposes, invented the genre. This is a great track…check it out.
