To date, they have two releases, a cover of Phoenix’s “Trying to be Cool” and “Redez-Vous.” Maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise they chose to cover Phoenix since “Rendez-Vous” takes a page from Thomas Mars & co. with an eerily similar bass line, guitar work, and overall sound. That is in no way is a criticism though, as I’ve been bobbing along to “Rendez-Vous” ever since I first heard it, and it has easily earned a place on any summer ’13 playlist of mine.
