If not, well, you may still like it, too — let’s not be exclusionary here. ‘Disintegrate’ successfully walks the fine line of sounding like it comes straight out of the Hacienda and Factory Records without being dated or completely derivative. Give it a listen below and expect more from the San Francisco duo over the course of the year.

If you do, Painted Palms has just what you need.

These San Francisco boys just released their album, Forever, and Spinning Signs is really the standout track for me. What kind of gets me (and is more apparent if you listen to the whole album, check out the title track) is that there is definitely some Beetles influence in there. Its nice to see people going back to the classics for inspiration. Awesome.
