One of our favorite producers out there right now, Summer Heart graced us with a new single today. To call it chillwave is a cop out. It’s more than that. He’s managed to make a feeling audible and that’s not easy to do. It’s beautiful. He’s redefining a genre that gets all lumped together. Don’t just say Chillwave and move on, Summer Heart deserves to stand out.

So I was cruising around this evening, not a care in the world. And I stumble upon this delicious track from Swedish-based producer SUMMER HEART aka David Alexander. This is everything I need right now. If Beach House and Goldroom had a baby; it would be SUMMER HEART. And she would be beautiful. So sublime. Love the laid back vibe, and the lo-fi guitar, complete with the Daft Punk style vocoder. I’d love to be lost at sea with this as the soundtrack.
