It’s dance-y, synth-y and all of the wonderful things that we’ve come to expect from Anoraak. I’ve loved them since I first heard Nightdrive With You and the remix of Unspoken and finally they’ve decided to feed the beast with a full album. I’m not even sure if there are any songs that I don’t like…Fantastic! Did I say that already? That must mean I’m serious, check it out immediately! I might have trouble waiting until October 21st, when I can get my hands on all of Chronotropic. Yay!

Clearly, I’ve been waiting for this. Our favorite disco synth funkateers, Chromeo, are back with a new album on the horizon. After teasing us with for a few weeks with the hashtag, #newalbumoclock, they’ve finally uncorked some of that goodness to share with us.  I’m not going to lie, hearing this little bit of Over Your Shoulder has me even more excited than before for this new release (titled White Women). I think a special note should be made of the nice Steve Miller, Fly Like an Eagle sample at around the 24 second mark. Awesome.

Am I ever excited about this. Holy Ghost! has given us a little taste of a new album that’s going to be released on September, 10th. It’s been a while since we heard from the boys from the Upper West Side (and more recently from Brooklyn). I’ve been craving a new tune from them or even an appearance around town and it seems like we’re going to get it. Of the three samples they’ve dropped I Wanna Be Your Hand is my favorite so far, but I will reserve judgement until I can get more than just this tasty little morsel they’ve left for us. GET PSYCHED!!!!
