Le Couleur – Voyage Amoureux

Who’s making better synth pop than the French these days? The answer: nobody. The proof: check out this infectious dance tune from Montreal quartet Le Couleur. The first track off their newly released (and beautifully crafted) EP Voyage Love has everything going for it – a groovy bassline, soothing synth, a touch of tambourine and delicate vocals delivered in the most romantic of the Romance languages. It’s stained-glass sun-splashed disco from a band that needs more of your attention. Rumor has it they’ll be crossing the border to play some shows – hopefully alongside their friends and collaborators from French Horn Rebellion. Fingers crossed.
