Maudlin Strangers – Overdose

As the name of the band and the title of this song would imply, this track is a little dark, but that’s part of what makes it great.

Maudlin Strangers is the solo project of Jake Hays, who not only provides all the vocals for this track but also plays all the instruments! It’s an impressive feat for anyone but especially here on Overdose, which is so soulful and sad. This is a wonderful example of brooding indie rock at it’s best!
