AlunaGeorge – You Know You Like It (DJ Snake Remix)

AlunaGeorge have garnered a lot of attention over the past year, having teamed up with Disclosure on “White Noise,” receiving ‘Best New Music’ honors for single “Your Drums, Your Love,” and releasing debut LP Body Music to positive reviews. Yet, the song of ‘theirs’ I have been most impressed with is actually a remix by French DJ, DJ Snake. He takes Body Music lead single “You Know You Like It” and adds some great sonic layering that steers the song away from its poppier base. The chopped/echoing chorus, snare claps, heavy trap drums and most of all, killer bassline make this version feel more apt for an after hours loft party than its predecessor.
