Dum Dum Girls – Rimbaud Eyes

Woah. How have we never talked about the Dum Dum Girls here on TMD? That’s a travesty, really. Well consider this post as the redeemer. I was immediately drawn into this latest song from the LA based quartet. It’s got a perfect bass line, a Flock of Seagulls-esqe guitar and distant synths that make me call for LA nights and drives along the Pacific Coast Highway. If I were to remake Brett Easton Ellis’ Less Than Zero, which I’d love to do some day, this would be the theme song.
