Governors is comprised of vocalist/producer Matt White and vocalist Madison Seely, two best friends from Columbia University in New York City. Inspired by a blend of artists from James Blake and Imogen Heap to Amy Winehouse & Lianne La Havas, Governors bring a crisp, soulful approach to dark lyrical themes and industrial melodies. The heavy bass paired with the minimalist beat create an intense and epic vibe that is completely paralyzing, building to a crescendo worthy of a film score.
