Racing Glaciers, Moths

Racing Glaciers – Moths

Racing Glaciers are a 5 piece band from Liverpool, UK. They describe themselves as a band that “….write[s] music mostly about rivers and the nighttime,” but they are so much more than that. They are a wonderful, moody, complex, indie rock band. Don’t let the their self description point you in a sad, emo direction. These guys definitely have the chops and some balls in their songs.

Moths starts out as a quiet and thoughtfully laid out song. It continues that way until about 1:35 seconds in when the boys really drop it into the next gear. They build it up and bring it down with such a deft touch, I’m still amazed how wonderfully this song is laid out. Press play and find out for yourself.

If you liked that check out their other single New Country
