Shura – Just Once

Earlier this year London singer-songwriter Shura captured my attention when she debuted “Touch“, a distressing poem about past love still burning with desire. Her vocals are as vulnerable and delicate as her lyrics, causing no surprise that her first single racked-up over half a million Soundcloud plays in just 5 months. Shura continues her heartbroken confessional in new release, “Just Once”, shamelessly admitting that, “if you get my name wrong I won’t get pissed off, ’cause I wish I was somebody else.” Her refreshing emotional honesty together with her tired tomboy style has me hooked… can’t wait for what story she tells next.
