Panama – Stay Forever

PANAMA was one of my favorite bands to come out of 2013. It’s been a while since I checked in with them and today we get this. A bit of a departure from how I came to know them, but I’m not mad about it. The vocals remind me of Carousel to a certain degree, but that’s a good thing while the drums show me tinges of M83. In the end, it all gels together to form a cohesive, soaring tune that makes me want to make out with Molly Ringwald in a convertible.
