Back when your boy was just crushing blogspot – I was talking about Freelance Whales & Aislyn. And for whatever reason, I thought of this song today and thought it was worth dipping into the archives for those of you who are new around here. Here’s the original post from 2010:

Freelance Whales is a band out of Queens, New York. Formed in 2008, they are signed to frenchkiss records, the same label as Passion Pit, Dodos and Local Natives. This cut of their album weathervanes gets remixed by Aislyn, who is Passion Pit keyboardist Ian Hultquist with his girlfriend Sofia Degli Alessandri making synth pop in their Brooklyn apartment. so hip!
