Local Natives – Heavy Feet

Local Natives have always held a special place in my heart. They came up as my interest in music was starting to bubble over into something uncontrollable. I caught them at The Delancey, I caught them at Bowery Ballroom. I was hooked. They make real music. Sometimes, it’s nice to hear some drums and guitars and no synths. I love that they can all sing. They go heavy on the drums. And they harmonize like a motherfucker. This track has taken everything I’ve come to love about Local Natives and nailed it. Their album, ‘Hummingbird’ drops January 29th.
