Hadn’t been back to my college town for nearly three years, since I graduated in 2011. If you’ve never been to Dallas, get yourself there. Actually, if you’ve never been to Texas, find a reason to go. I am in major recovery mode this Monday morning after a whirlwind 4-day trip down South. Between sharing old stories and running into my favorite faces, my mind flooded with flashbacks every corner I turned…. I need a vacation from that vacation. I filled my belly with bourbon and beer, fried chicken and biscuits, and of course, some of mama’s old sweet tea.

So, right now, what I need is soothing tunes to keep me mellow and afloat. My inbox is filled to the brim, but I am still humming and not quite ready to touch back down. Zimmer transforms Australian duo Wunder Wunder’s galactic pop song into a soft, blissed-out dreamscape… together, their sound is taking me right to where I want to be.
